About myfoodstamps.org!

MyFoodStamps.org was built by Anyu Fang, Congressional Hunger Fellow of the Congressional Hunger Center under the supervision of Jessica Bartholow of the California Association of Food Banks (CAFB). The primary purpose of the website is to provide resources for communities trying to increase participation in the food stamp program. Secondarily, the website offers a portal to information for all Californians to learn if they are eligible and how to apply for the Food Stamp Program.

****** Text to Be Added By Anyu****** I don't know what else you want to say here Anyu, but you might want something. Feel free to edit text as you would like, but be careful with the info below as I don't want to loose it.

Elements of this website were inspired by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties and their work funded by USDA Food Stamp Participation Grants in 2003 and 2004. The Food Stamp Application and Screening Tool (F.A.S.T.) that is downloadable via this website was designed by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and contributed to by Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties and the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

Funding for the development of this website was provided by the Wellness Foundation, the Congressional Hunger Center, and the California Nutrition Network for Healthy, Active Living with USDA match funds drawn down from local match raised by CAFB's food stamp outreach partners.
